Hint: Defeating the Warrior Spirit:
When you get to the Warrior Spirit, about ten direct hits from an explosive rock will finish him off. The easiest way to do this is enable the "Level select" code then fill up on ammunition by using the "Maximum weapons" code.
Hint: Skipping the two cheetahs fight:
Somewhere in plain sight before fighting the cheetahs will be a hot pepper. Get it and go as fast as you can to the place where the two cheetahs are located. Then, jump up on the high ledge on the right as fast as possible. The pepper will let you jump high enough to reach the ledge.
Enable the "Level select" code and begin game play. Get to the two cheetah statues, and before jumping down into the "arena" with them, activate the "Free movement" code. Move yourself to the other ledge and finish the level.
At the end of the game, note that Pitfall's dad is the character from the original Pitfall game on the Atari 2600.
