Power Instinct (豪血寺一族, Gōketsuji Ichizoku?, "The Gōketsuji Clan") is a fighting game series created by Atlus started in 1993. The Power Instinct or Gouketsuji Ichizoku series (often abbreviated as PI or GI for short) is renowned for its more humorous take on fighting games, its music and its often-weird characters.[citation needed]One of the innovations unique to the series was the introduction of the transformation feature. Several of the characters can change their appearance and fighting style by simply executing certain moves (usually a throwing move), though this has not been featured in every entry in the series. Other features include the ability to perform a double jump and attacking while dashing.

Lode Runner is a puzzle video game, first published by Brøderbund in 1983. It is one of the first games to include a level editor, a feature that allows players to create their own levels for the game. This feature bolstered the game's popularity, as magazines such as Computer Gaming World held contests to see who could build the best level. Tozai, Inc. currently holds the intellectual property and trademark rights of Lode Runner.

Powermonger (or Power Monger) is a real-time strategy game developed by Bullfrog in 1990, derived from the Populous engine but presented using a 3-dimensional game map.

Power Athlete (パワーアスリート?), known outside of Japan for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis as Deadly Moves or for the Super NES as Power Moves, is a 1992 fighting video game developed by System Vision and published by Kaneko. It was first released for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis in North America on August 14, 1992, and in Japan on November 20, 1992. The Super NES version was later released in Japan on November 27, 1992, North America in January 1993, and in Europe on October 4, 1993. It is one of the many fighting games published in the early 90's to capitalize on the success of Capcom's Street Fighter II, it did not achieve the success of its competition, and was largely ignored by most gamers.

Prehistorik Man is a platforming video game for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System developed by Titus Interactive and published by Kemco in Japan in 1995 as P-Man and by Titus Interactive elsewhere in 1996. It is a sequel to Prehistorik 2, featuring similar graphics but richer and different story, additional non-player characters which, among other things provide hints and a tutorial.The game was ported to the Game Boy Advance and DSiWare, with the latter being released in North America on February 15, 2010. Electronic Gaming Monthly gave the game an 8.875 out of 10 and their "Game of the Month" award. They particularly lauded the game's storyline, humorous sound effects, strong play control, and numerous secrets.Famicom Tsūshin scored the Super Famicom version of Prehistorik Man a 27 out of 40.

Primal Rage is a versus fighting game developed and released by Atari Games to arcades in 1994. The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic version of Earth called "Urth". Players control one of seven large beasts that battle each other to determine the fate of the planet. Matches feature many of the conventions of fighting games from the era, including special moves and gory finishing maneuvers.Various ports were released for home consoles and personal computers. Efforts to perfectly emulate the arcade original have as yet been unsuccessful, due to an unusual copy protection method developers used.Toys, comics, a novel (Primal Rage: The Avatars by John Vornholt) and other merchandise tie-ins were also produced.

Prince of Persia is a fantasy platform game, originally developed by Jordan Mechner and released in 1989 for the Apple II, that represented a great leap forward in the quality of animation seen in video games. After the original release on the Apple II, it was ported to a wide range of platforms. The game influenced a subgenre known as the cinematic platformer, which imitated the sprawling non-scrolling levels, fluid animation, and control style.

Prince of Persia 2: The Shadow and the Flame is a platform game released by Brøderbund in 1993.It received an HD remake for smartphones and tablets for iOS and Android in 2013 as Prince of Persia: The Shadow and the Flame.

Princess Maker (プリンセスメーカー?) is a series of Japanese life simulation bishōjo games by the video game and anime production company Gainax. The first Princess Maker, while popular enough to be translated into Chinese, was never released in the United States. Princess Maker 2 was translated by SoftEgg for a North American release, but this release was cancelled because publisher Intracorp went bankrupt. Princess Maker 3, Princess Maker 4, and Princess Maker 5 have subsequently been released. The series has been translated and released in Korea (Fujitsu) and Taiwan (Kingformation). No English translations have been made after the failed attempt of Princess Maker 2.Petite Princess Yucie, an anime series loosely based on the third game but with characters from all of the games, ran for 26 episodes in 2002-03.

Pro Quarterback is a 1992 multiplatform video game that is based on American football. It was released for both the Super NES and the Sega Genesis video game consoles.

Pro Sport Hockey, known in Japan as USA Ice Hockey in FC (ユーエスエーアイスホッケー イン エフシー, Yū Esu Ēa Isuhokkē in Efu Shī?), is a 1993 multiplatform ice hockey video game that was released for the NES and Super NES.

Pushover is a platform puzzle game developed by Red Rat Software and published by Ocean Software in 1992 for the Amiga, Atari ST, DOS and Super NES. Notably, the game was sponsored by Smiths' British snack Quavers (now owned by Walkers), where the game plot revolves around the then Quavers mascot 'Colin Curly' losing his Quavers packets down a giant ant hill. The player is then tasked with controlling 'G.I. Ant', a large soldier ant, to recover the Quavers by solving a series of puzzles. The SNES version lacks the Quavers branding, and instead the aim is to recover bundles of cash dropped down the ant hill by Captain Rat.

Q*bert 3 for the SNES was also developed by Realtime Associates and released in 1992. Jeff Lee, creator of the Q*bert character, also worked on the graphics for this game. Q*bert 3 features gameplay similar to the original, but like the Game Boy game, it has larger levels of varying shapes. In addition to enemies from the first game, it introduces several new enemies (Frogg, Top Hat, and Derby).
