MechWarrior, known in Japan as Battletech (バトルテック^?), is a first-person action video game for the Super NES based on the Battletech universe. The SNES game was based upon the original PC MechWarrior, with updated graphics that utilized Mode 7 for the Battlemech mission sequences instead of the PC version's flat-shaded 3D graphics.

The game was followed by a sequel, MechWarrior 3050, which was played from an isometric view.

Star Fox 2 (スターフォックス2, Sutā Fokkusu Tsū?) is an unreleased video game for the Super Famicom/Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It was to be the second of the Star Fox series and the direct sequel to Star Fox. Both Argonaut Games and Nintendo developed the game, with Nintendo planning to publish it. The Japanese version was completely finished except for minor debugging tools that weren't yet removed. It is unknown if there are any complete official English versions, though an unofficial fan translation exists. This game was scheduled to be released in the summer of 1995. Star Fox 2 continued the battle against Emperor Andross who seeks to conquer the Lylat system, with the Star Fox team assembled once again to defeat him. The game introduces a new semi-real time gameplay system, featuring new ship types and two new Star Fox team members. It also features a more advanced 3D game engine thanks to a new improved version of the Super FX chip. The game was shelved due to the impending release of the Nintendo 64 and the desire to use the most advanced system available for a new Star Fox game.

Wings 2: Aces High (スカイミッション^?, lit. "Sky Mission") is the Super Nintendo Entertainment System sequel to the Amiga game Wings that takes place during World War I (though the developer is Malibu, rather than Cinemaware). The game was sold in Europe as Blazing Skies. A realistic aerodynamics system is used in the game that replicates the physics of a World War I biplane. Many of the loop-de-loops that are possible in modern aircraft were not possible given the limited speed and velocity of the early 20th century flying machines.

Wing Commander is the first, eponymous game in Chris Roberts' science fiction space simulation franchise Wing Commander by Origin Systems. The game was first released for the PC DOS on September 26, 1990 and was later ported to the Amiga, CD32 (256-color), Sega CD and the SNES, and re-released for the PC as Wing Commander I in 1994. An enhanced remake Super Wing Commander was made for the 3DO in 1994, later ported to the Macintosh.

The game was a marked departure from the standard formula, bringing space combat to a level approaching the Star Wars films. Turn and Burn: No-Fly Zone - known in Japan as Super Dogfight: F-14 Tomcat Air Combat Game (スーパードッグファイト^?) - is a jet flight simulator from Absolute Entertainment for the Super NES, released in 1994.^[2] It is the sequel to Turn and Burn: The F-14 Dogfight Simulator, a Game Boy game which also featured the F-14 Tomcat aircraft. An enhanced port of this game was released as F-14 Tomcat on Game Boy Advance.

Super Strike Eagle, known in Japan as F-15 Super Strike Eagle (Ｆ－１５スーパーストライクイーグル, F-15 Supa Sutoraiku Iguru?), is a combat-oriented arcade video game for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. The game involves flying airplanes that tests the player's Sidewinder missile and machine gun firing skills against various non-aligned nations that were historically notorious for housing extremist leaders during the Cold War. The game was released in North America, Europe, and Japan approximately simultaneously. In the Japanese version, real political flags are not used unlike the North American version. Despite the game's title, it is unrelated to the similarly named F-15 Strike Eagle series.

It culminates in the IFD Trials, three tests undertaken by representatives of any races that are present when the Trials are held, and failure would mean the destruction of the Federation and the enslavement of countless worlds by the Federation's enemies.

Pilotwings (パイロットウイングス, Pairottouingusu?) is a video game for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). It was developed by Nintendo's Entertainment Analysis and Development (EAD) division, led by producer Shigeru Miyamoto. The game was originally released in Japan on December 21, 1990, shortly after the launch of the SNES. It was released as a launch title for the console on August 23, 1991 in North America, with a European release following in 1992.

Pilotwings is an amateur flight simulator game in which the player attempts to earn pilot licenses through lessons in light plane flight, hang gliding, skydiving, and the use of a rocket belt. Bonus stages and levels involving an attack helicopter are also available. Each event offers unique controls and gameplay mechanics. To increase the realism of the game's flight simulation, the developers extensively utilized the SNES's Mode 7 capability, which mimics 3D graphics by rotating and scaling flat objects.

The game was well received upon its release, largely thanks to its graphical presentation. The game has since been re-released on the Virtual Console service for both the Wii and the Wii U consoles in PAL regions, North America, and Japan. A sequel, Pilotwings 64, was released for the Nintendo 64 in 1996. After many years of announcements and cancellations, Nintendo unveiled a second sequel, Pilotwings Resort, for the Nintendo 3DS handheld at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2010 which released in 2011.

Lock-On is a 1986 first-person shooter and combat flight simulator video game with a futuristic theme. It is developed by Tatsumi and licensed to Data East for US distribution. Features scaling sprites and a full-screen rotation effect.

Aerobiz Supersonic, known as Air Management II: Kōkū Ō wo Mezase (エアーマネジメントII 航空王をめざせ?) in Japan, is a business simulation video game released by Koei in US-America in August 1994, available on the Super Nintendo and the Mega Drive/Genesis. It is a sequel to Koei's previous airline simulation game, Aerobiz.

Aerobiz (エアーマネジメント 大空に賭ける?, "Air Management: Ōzora ni Kakeru") is a business simulation video game for the Super Nintendo, Sharp X68000 and Mega Drive/Genesis game consoles, released in 1992 by Koei.

As CEO of a budding international airline, the player has a limited amount of time to expand their business to become the industry leader against three other airlines (either AI-controlled or human opponents). The player has an amount of control over how their airline develops, such as the name, investments, what routes to fly, plane purchases, and other various aspects, while at the mercy of world events such as politics (for instance, if the player runs his or her airline out of Moscow, he or she can initially only buy Soviet planes and will have a harder time negotiating with Western nations) and natural disasters. The player can also get the company involved in peripheral businesses such as hotels and shuttle services. Once Perestroika is initiated, then the Cold War restrictions no longer apply in the game.

The sequel Aerobiz Supersonic was released in August 1994 for the SNES and Mega Drive/Genesis. The player is presented with a wider variety of options in nearly everything, but the game play is much the same. Another sequel known as Air Management '96 was released only in Japan for the Sega Saturn and PlayStation.
