Mario's Super Picross (マリオのスーパーピクロス Mario no Sūpā Pikurosu^?) is a Super Famicom sequel to Mario's Picross. It is erroneously named as Mario's Picross 2, which is actually the name of the Game Boy sequel to Mario's Picross. The game is compatible with the Super Famicom Mouse.

After the failure of Mario's Picross in North America, Nintendo decided not to release this game in that region. The game was made available for download on the Wii's Virtual Console service on December 19, 2006 in Japan and later in PAL regions on September 14, 2007, the 12th anniversary of the game's original Japanese release - marking the first Western release of the game, which has been left nontranslated with original Japanese text intact. This game was re-released for download on the Wii U's Virtual Console service in both Japan and the PAL regions on April 27, 2013.

Marios Early Years

Mario's Time Machine is an educational video game originally released for MS-DOS and then for the Nintendo Entertainment System and Super Nintendo Entertainment System consoles. The Software Toolworks both developed and published the MS-DOS and Super NES versions in 1993, while the NES version was developed by Radical Entertainment and published by Nintendo in 1994. The MS-DOS version was re-released as Mario's Time Machine Deluxe in 1996.

Mario's Time Machine is one of several educational Mario video games that were released during the early 1990s; the game focuses on teaching human history. While the gameplay and engine varies between the three different versions, the story is roughly the same: the player assumes the role of Mario, who uses a time machine to return various artifacts, which had been stolen by Bowser, to their correct points in time.

Mario's Time Machine received generally negative reviews since its release, holding an aggregate score of 60.25% on GameRankings based on two reviews. Its use as an educational title has been mixed, and the game has been compared to another educational history game, Where in Time Is Carmen Sandiego?

Super Mario War HOL

Mario (Japanese: マリオ, Hepburn: Mario?) is a fictional character in the Mario video game franchise by Nintendo, created by Japanese video game designer Shigeru Miyamoto. Serving as Nintendo's mascot and the eponymous protagonist of the series, Mario has appeared in over 200 video games since his creation. Depicted as a short, pudgy, Italian plumber who resides in the Mushroom Kingdom, he repeatedly rescues Princess Peach from the Koopa villain Bowser and stops his numerous plans to destroy him and take over the kingdom. Mario also has other enemies and rivals, including Donkey Kong and Wario.

Mario is said by many to be the most famous character in video game history. Mario games, as a whole, have sold more than 210 million units, making the Mario franchise the best-selling video game franchise of all time. Outside of the Super Mario platform series, he has appeared in video games of other genres, including the Mario Kart racing series, sports games, such as the Mario Tennis and Mario Golf series, role-playing video games such as Paper Mario and Super Mario RPG, and educational games, such as Mario Is Missing! and Mario's Time Machine. He has inspired television shows, film, comics and a line of licensed merchandise. Since 1995, Mario has been voiced by Charles Martinet.

Mario is Missing! is an educational game created for MS-DOS, the SNES, and the NES. The gameplay was widely panned by critics, although its Super Mario World music remixes have gained recognition. Mario is Missing! was released in floppy disk format for MS-DOS in 1992, with the CD-ROM Deluxe edition and console versions released the following year. A follow-up called Mario's Time Machine was eventually produced. This is the first game where Luigi is the main protagonist with Mario in a supporting role and it was the only solo adventure for Luigi until 2001 when Luigi's Mansion was released on the Nintendo GameCube.

Excitebike: Bun Bun Mario Battle Stadium (エキサイトバイク ぶんぶんマリオバトルスタジアム Ekisaitobaiku Bun Bun Mario Batoru Sutajiamu: noting that "bun bun" is a Japanese onomatopoeia for buzzing sounds - in this case, produced by the motorcycles - this title can also be understood as simply "Excitebike: Mario Battle Stadium") is a remake/adaptation of the NES title, Excitebike. In this game, all human motorcyclists were replaced with Mario characters. As a Satellaview title, Nintendo developed the video game and released four versions of it through the satellite download service operated by St.GIGA, each expanding on or replacing the features of the last.

Tetris & Dr.Mario is a game for the SNES released in 1994. It contains the popular puzzle game Tetris, a remade version of Dr. Mario, and a "Mixed Match" mode where the player plays against another player where they have to play Tetris mode B then Dr. Mario and finally Tetris mode A. It won a Player's Choice rating.

The difference from the original games is that the graphics are improved, the music is remixed and there is a Vs. Computer mode. In Dr. Mario, the Player goes up against the Blue, Yellow and Red Viruses in the difficulties easy, medium and hard respectively. Aside from that, the game play remains the same.

Super Mario World (スーパーマリオワールド, Sūpā Mario Wārudo?), subtitled Super Mario Bros. 4 (スーパーマリオブラザーズ4, Sūpā Mario Burazāzu fō?) for its original Japanese release, is a 1990 platform video game developed and published by Nintendo as a pack-in launch title for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) and is the fifth game in the Super Mario series. Development was handled by Nintendo Entertainment Analysis and Development, led by Shigeru Miyamoto, who directed the game along with Takashi Tezuka. The game centers on the quest of Mario and Luigi to save Dinosaur Land from Bowser, the series' antagonist. The two brothers must travel across seven worlds to restore order to Dinosaur Land. It built on the gameplay of previous Mario games by introducing new power-ups that augment character abilities, and established conventions that were carried over to future games in the series. Super Mario World marks the first appearance of Yoshi, Mario's dinosaur sidekick and riding mount. Super Mario World was an overwhelming critical and commercial success, selling over 20 million copies worldwide, and is considered by many to be one of the best and most innovative Mario games made. It has been re-released four times, first as part of a combo with Super Mario All-Stars on the SNES in 1994. Secondly, it was released on the Game Boy Advance as Super Mario Advance 2 (スーパーマリオアドバンス2, Sūpā Mario Adobansu Tsū?) in 2001 and outside of Japan as Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2 in 2002 with modified gameplay. The third re-release was for the Wii's Virtual Console in Japan in 2006 and in North America and PAL regions in 2007; there were no changes from the original SNES version. It was also released for the Wii U's Virtual Console which integrated Off-TV Play and Miiverse features to the game.

Super Mario Kart (スーパーマリオカート, Sūpā Mario Kāto?) is a 1992 go-kart racing video game developed by Nintendo EAD for the Super Famicom (SFC) and the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). The first game of the Mario Kart series, it was launched in Japan on August 27, 1992, in North America on September 1, 1992, and in Europe on January 21, 1993. Selling eight million copies worldwide, the game went on to become the third best selling SNES game of all time. Super Mario Kart was re-released on the Wii's Virtual Console in Japan on June 9, 2009, North America on November 23, 2009, and in Europe on April 2, 2010.

Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island is a 1995 platform video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. In order to reunite baby brothers Mario and Luigi, the latter who has been kidnapped by Bowser's minions, the player controls Yoshi, a friendly dinosaur, through 48 levels while carrying Baby Mario. As a Super Mario series platformer, Yoshi runs and jumps to reach the end of the level while solving puzzles and collecting items. In a style new to the series, the game has a hand-drawn aesthetic and is the first to have Yoshi as its main character. The game introduces his signature abilities to flutter jump, produce eggs from swallowed enemies, and transform into vehicles.
